Who is 'Trident Studios'?

Trident Sound Studio Limited was established and is still run by Peter Hughes. Opened in 1993, and orignally called 'The Sound Studio', Peter and his team have been excelling at everything audio for nearly 20 years.

Is Trident still involved in the music industry?

No, Trident now specialises in recording the spoken word and mixing audio for TV, film, radio and internet / e-learning videos. All our recording booths are specially designed for recording actors / voice over artists and our Studio 1 can also handle crowd recording.

How can I go about applying for a job / work placement / internship at Trident?

Due to Trident's small and compact team we are not in a position to offer any placements or internships, and unfortunately this also currently applies to any job applications. We recommend that you try approaching a larger facility with upwards of at least 8 permanent staff.

I'm a tourist / rock history fan, do you do tours of the studio?

Trident is still a fully working profesional studio and unfortunately we are not able to let music fans look around the studio. However, we do occasionally run tours of the studio on Thursday evenings at around 6pm. These are strictly limited to 12 people and require a minimum of 4 to be run. They also do not always happen, so please contact the studio prior to making any travel arrangements.
